Following the successful completion of the second workshop by the first cohort in February 2026, Better Change is delighted to announce that registrations are now open for the next intake of its level 4 Regulatory Compliance Officer Apprenticeship, launching in April 2026.
Designed specifically for the gambling industry and delivered in conjunction with CSA Learning, the programme has been developed to strengthen regulatory knowledge, embed safer gambling principles, and build confident, well-rounded practitioners across the sector.
The apprenticeship is open to anyone working in compliance, safer gambling, risk, marketing, or related functions within the gambling industry who wants to deepen their understanding of regulation and play a meaningful role in raising standards across their organisation.
For organisations based in England full or part levy funded places are available.
The programme runs for approximately 14 months and includes:
• Eight dedicated face-to-face workshops delivered throughout the programme
• Structured on-the-job learning
• A personal mentor, with up to two hours of one-to-one support each month
This apprenticeship provides a powerful opportunity for operators to attract, retain, and reward talent, while also reinforcing the importance of regulatory compliance across the whole business. By investing in people and professional development, organisations can help shift the narrative around gambling—showcasing a sector that is committed to responsibility, standards, and positive change.
Anyone interested in joining the April 2026 cohort or registering their interest is encouraged to get in touch with Better Change by emailing info@better-change.org, david@better-change.org, or by visiting the Better Change website and clicking the apprenticeship registration link.
